NEW POSITION: Part Time Occupational Therapist





Use your clinical skills to provide state of the art interventions in a beautiful university-sponsored clinic in downtown Towson! Influence future practice through supervising level I Towson U OT students.


This part-time position will provide direct therapy and supervision of occupational therapy services for children at the Institute for Well-Being throughout the year.  The occupational therapist will serve the Children’s Therapy Program, provide evaluations, individual services and group programs as needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Lead therapist for Children’s Therapy Program:  12 week programs 2x/year; 5 week program during summer with possible expansion during January
  • ·         Oversee evaluation process for children
  • ·         Supervise Level I and Level II TU OT students
  • ·         Complete related documentation according to Occupational Therapy Center guidelines
  • ·         Utilize effective communication with students, clients, families, caregivers, and professional colleagues.

Requirements:

  •        Maryland Occupational Therapy license
  •        Master’s degree
  •        Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  •        Malpractice insurance
  •        Student supervision experience preferred but not required
